Today in family Bible Study, we read out of Proverbs 23, which contains this statement:
"Do not mix with winebibbers," (Prov. 23:20a)
Tonight we had dinner with my grandparents at their house. I went into the kitchen and saw my brother getting orange juice out of the fridge. This is how the conversation went:
Bobby: Caroline, what is that back there?
Me: I think it's wine.
Bobby: WHAT??
Me: I said, I think it's wine.
Bobby: GRANDPA, are you a winebibber???

Okay--in fairness to Grandpa, he isn't a "winebibber" in the sense in which it's used in Proverbs. And he was keeping the wine for neighbors...I think....
Bobby has always been one to "call a spade a spade." I suppose it's good when we study the bible and then can make direct application.
At least Dad didn't "whine" about it.
Haha...that's hilarious! :)
On another note...
I've referred to the rebelution modesty survey twice in the last couple of weeks. So thanks for sharing that link; it came in quite handy. :) The lack of modesty these days is amazing.
