Currently, we are staying (until Sat.) at my great-uncle's cabin on Seneca Lake. Seneca Lake is one of the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York. Today we took the speed boat out and rode up the lake to where the Navy actually has deep sea diving training facility. This is probably because at certain parts of the lake, Seneca is over 600 feet deep. Anyway, after we did that we decided to go tubing, as we probably won't have another chance. (Bad weather.) Mary went, and her ride was very uneventful. The I went. As my dad was about to bring the boat back in to the dock, the gas tank died. Now we had another one, but these stupid boat companies make it almost impossible, at least in our boat, to switch gas tanks. So there we were floating quite a ways from our dock. Not out, but over. We were also only about 50 feet from Lodi Point. We didn't want to run aground on that either. So I jumped off the tube and said, "Oh, I'll just swim back."
Well, that didn't work. Eventually, my dad got the boat rowed it, and my mom came with the canoe and rescued me.

I'm glad you had fun tubing even if the last ride didn't quite work out. I'm impressed with your ability to hang on to the tube even when bouncing around. I had fun with it, too. I hope we can do it again sometime.
